Thank You

It is extremely important to me that I look to the past so that I may truly appreciate the present. My journey has been inspired by the events and people, both past and present. It is because of those rich experiences and people that I am able to see Urban Dwellings, LLC through to fruition. For that I am forever grateful and I would like to thank you all.

Mom: For convincing me to focus on what I do best and for giving me the room to grow, finding my way. Thank you for the life you gave me. I love you.

Grandma and Grandpa Olson: Though physically gone, your love and encouragement surrounded me each and every day. I miss and love you.

Uncle Bart: The first artist I’ve ever known. I’ve admired you my entire life. Wherever you are, I hope you can see me and recognize your influence. Rest peacefully.

Family Yohman: Girl power! Thank you for you unending love and support through the years.

Grandma Rapposelli: Thank you for the safe haven of your love and hugs.

Nancy Painter: Lifelong friend and confidant. Your unconditional love and support has carried me through the times, giving me a boost when I needed it most, laughing with me at my foibles and sharing some of life’s tragedies. The “Myles” apart have never left us distant; you are ever close and always present. You are a large part of who I am.

Kevin and Larry Shaw, Shaw and Son Plumbing and Heating: The two of you have treated me like family, picked me up, dusted me off and sent me on my way with new perspective. Over the years we’ve laughed and cried as friends and professionals, Thank you for being in my corner and encouraging me to move on with my passions. Every day that I come into the studio, and I see your efforts, I thank my stars that we’ve met!

Craig Myles, Bob Myles and Sons: Your friendship and enthusiasm have been a quite source of inspiration. You’ve always been on the other end of the phone with sage words of advice and a “keep your chin up” pep talk. Thank you for both your time and efforts with the studio! You are a great friend. Bridget Chase, MBC Consulting: Heaven sent you to me! You have become a great friend, full of energy and encouragement! Your talents as a writer have rescued me.

Mrs. Bonnie Woods, BGSU Adviser: There are few opportunities in life to thank those that have been instrumental. Mrs. Woods, you have been one of the most instrumental women in my life. You believed in me. You saw through some of the rough spots in college. Your nurturing and patience paid off. When I think of my life and work as a designer, I want you to be proud of your student. I am here in large part because of you. Thank you for believing in me. I will never forget you.

Frank Bosworth, BGSU Instructor/Architect: Ok, let it be known that you scared me, a lot! You saw the potential when I couldn’t. You challenged me to think, to draw. It’s been years now since graduation, I still look back at the work I did for you and I feel privileged to have you as my instructor. The day of graduation, you showed up in my line to shake my hand and share your confidence in me. I still carry that experience with me. Thank you Mr. Bosworth, for challenging me.

Mike Anderson – M.P. Anderson, Inc.: You have been a source of encouragement for both the rewards and the challenges. I appreciate the all that you have done for me as a friend and for the efforts in the studio.

Todd McIntosh, McIntosh and Tuttle: I have enjoyed our professional collaborations and I look forward to the joint efforts that reflect out mutual passion for design.

Melissa Howe and Nellie-Fiachre: Your friendship and laughter are amazing. Professionally you are an asset, with your great eye on the details. Thank you for all that you’ve done and continue to do.
